School Assemblies
Presenting at school assemblies all over Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and South Dakota bringing my message about the power of the mind has bene an absolute joy! I enjoy watching the reactions from students and staff as they make connections about how their past is influencing the present.
FIND HOW YOU ARE AMAZING!
It’s about finding what resonates with you-what discipline is it that makes you stop and say-WOW! I can see myself doing this?
NOW, go follow that thing! When you pursue it, learn about it, try it, then decide it’s not for you-you can discard it. It’s not as if you will have learned nothing!
If nothing else, it will make you a more interesting human being!
Trying and failing is how we learn!
Neuroscience tells us we NEED to fail in the short term in order to succeed in the long term. It’s why we practice. Demonstrating to students this concept has been a blast for me! Magic, mentalism, juggling, even yoyo-tricks have helped me keep the attention of students and get them to see that with the right attitude, some motivation, and the ability to whether adversity in the form of “failing” always pays off in the end!
