Entertainer in Omaha

From Downtown Omaha to the TEDx Stage: My Journey in Magic, Juggling, and Beyond

November 04, 20242 min read

My journey in entertainment started as a kid in downtown Omaha, standing on the street with a few balloons, a deck of cards, and the ambition to make people laugh. Those early days were all about trial and error—figuring out how to catch the eye of passersby, experimenting with magic tricks, and seeing just how many objects I could juggle before they all came crashing down. I quickly learned that every successful trick was more than just the illusion; it was about creating an unforgettable experience for the audience.

As the years went by, that small start began to grow. I added new skills, trained at Second City, and performed across the Omaha area, honing a unique style that combined comedy, mentalism, and magic. From company parties to holiday events, I built my reputation one performance at a time. What began as a simple desire to entertain evolved into a professional career where I could engage, connect, and inspire audiences of all ages.

Now, I’m thrilled to say that journey has led to some exciting new chapters. This fall, I’ll be delivering a TEDx talk, sharing the very insights that my years of performing have taught me about focus, flow, and finding fulfillment in even the simplest acts. From performing at local events to booking corporate engagements across the country, my career has grown far beyond what that young kid with a few balloons could have imagined.

As I continue booking events nationwide, I’m grateful for every performance, every lesson, and every opportunity to connect with people through the magic, mentalism, and comedy that has become my passion. Whether I’m on stage for a corporate audience, a TEDx event, or a holiday party, each show is a chance to share the journey that’s brought me from the streets of Omaha to stages across the country.
